Dr. Brinton Clark feels prevention of disease is the basis for good primary care and values the personal relationships she forms with her patients. She works closely with patients to help them optimize management of chronic diseases and to improve their quality of life.
Dr. Clark educates her patients and helps them to gain the knowledge and skills they need to optimize their health and well being. “I think developing a trusting, long term primary care relationship is one of the keys to helping patients live the most healthy, happy, highest quality of life,” she says.
Dr. Clark received her medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco. She also completed her internship and residency through the university.
Dr. Clark is married and has two children. She enjoys gardening and speaks French.
Personal Statement: I joined the faculty at Providence in September, 2005, and love being part of this dynamic community of faculty and physicians-in-training. I enjoy the close relationships and mentoring that are possible in a smaller training environment. The academic focus of the residency continues to challenge me in my personal learning and growth.
