After earning his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, J. Christopher Anderson, M.D., completed his internship and residency in family practice at Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver. He is board certified in family practice.

Dr. Anderson left a career in electrical engineering for one in medicine because being a physician gives him the opportunity to interact with people in a more meaningful way. "A physician can act as a guide, a mentor and a companion during difficult times; all are important. I enjoy and value the chance to develop lasting relationships with my patients and their families."

Dr. Anderson can speak Spanish, having studied the language in California and Nicaragua. He is married and has three children.
