Charlotte is a 1973 Graduate of Research College of Nursing in Kansas City, Mo. She is certified as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse by the American Nurses Credentialing Center of the American Nurses Association and began her career as a psychiatric nurse. She has additional training in crisis intervention, end-of-life care discussions, dementia screening, domestic violence and abuse/neglect in children and the elderly. Charlotte performs mental health and chemical dependency assessments in the clinic, coordination of care between clinic and PHS/community agencies/resources and management of the difficult patient and the chronic pain patient with addictions. She is a member of the Behavioral Science Committee, coordinates the Community Medicine Month, co-coordinator of the Home/Facility Visit Program and facilitator of the Intern Support Group. Charlotte enjoys gardening, concerts and camping.
