Peter Chang, D.O., joined the Pediatric Cardiology Center of Oregon as a pediatric cardiologist in July 2006.

Dr. Chang returns to the Northwest after receiving his medical degree at Nova-Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He completed his pediatric residency training at University of Maryland, Baltimore. He continued his sub-specialty training in pediatric cardiology at the University of Rochester's Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong. His research interests have included the role of dystrophin in Duchenne muscular dystrophy, with publications investigating the accuracy of point of care testing devices.

Dr. Chang has developed expertise in non-interventional imaging, specializing in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography with a special interest in fetal echocardiography.
