Inspired to become a doctor by the physicians who cared for her during her gymnastics career, Dr. Kristin LeGrand works hard with each patient to maximize his or her health. She chose family medicine because she has the opportunity to take care of the patient as a whole and to help make the community the healthiest it can be.
In her practice, Dr. LeGrand emphasizes taking care of one's health naturally first. "Our bodies have an innate ability to heal themselves when given the right tools," she says.
After earning her medical degree from Michigan State University's College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Dr. LeGrand completed her internship and residency at Family Medicine of Southwest Washington in Vancouver.
Dr. LeGrand enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She volunteers at a local free clinic and helps provide sports physicals to local schools.
