Biography
Professional memberships include The North Pacific Society of Internal Medicine, the American Gastroenterology Association, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Physicians, and the American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition.

Currently, Dr. Phillips serves as the medical director of the Metabolic Support Team and is chairman of the Medical Education Committee at Providence Portland Medical Center. He is interested in overseas medicine and spent six weeks at Moi University, Eldoret, Kenya as an attending physician in internal medicine and gastroenterology in 2002.

His area of specialty in gastroenterology includes endoscopic ultrasound.
