Dr. Susie Bobenrieth emphasizes care of the whole patient. She believes that patients won't do well with preventive care or management of chronic health conditions if there are barriers to their care. "As a provider," she says, "I try to recognize and address these issues collaboratively with my patients."
She decided to become a family physician after volunteering in various health care environments and recognizing the role that the family physician can play in prevention, support and advocacy for patients in times of both wellness and illness. "It is a joy and privilege to journey with patients through the ups and downs of life," she says.
Dr. Bobenrieth earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. She completed her internship and residency at Family Medicine of Southwest Washington in Vancouver. She has a special interest in caring for families through pregnancy and the transition to parenthood.
Dr. Bobenrieth is married and has two children. She enjoys hiking, camping, knitting, gardening and playing soccer.
