Dr. Deborah Murphy greatly values collaborating and partnering with her patients. "I see my role as providing infor-mation and a physician's perspective - listening to the patient's attitudes and goals, and then developing a plan that furthers their wellness," she says.

Dr. Murphy enjoys getting to meet a wide variety of people in her work. "I feel privileged to hear their stories and learn some-thing new every day," she says.

After graduating from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Dr. Murphy completed her internship and residency at Family Medicine of Southwest Washington in Vancouver.

The Seattle native's hobbies include playing soccer, running and gardening. She volunteers at a free clinic and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
