Providence

Jennifer has been a nurse at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital for 17 years. She loves working with the people in her community to promote good health and find strategies to help them manage their diabetes better. She has been a diabetes educator for 14 years, is past president of the Oregon Diabetes Educators and also works part time at La Clínica del Cariño in Hood River helping serve the underserved in Hood River County. Jennifer recently became a instructor in the Safe at School (SAS) program for the American Diabetes Association (ASA). When she is not at work she enjoys hiking, biking, working in her family cherry orchard,  traveling and spending time with her husband and 3 twenty something children.
