Rhonda Tierney, M.D., completed residency training at Providence Portland Medical Center and is board-certified in internal medicine. Her medical interests include orthopedics, geriatrics and infectious diseases. She is also bilingual in English and Spanish.
"When working with older frail adults, one is reminded that health is far more complicated than medical problems and medications. Health is linked to all the personal ties -- such as family, home and personal interests -- that make us human. I believe each patient needs to be known as a whole person and not as a set of problems to be fixed."
In her free time, Dr. Tierney enjoys family, friends, gardening and hiking.
