"Wellness is about so much more than a list of medical problems; it includes emotional, spiritual and intellectual well-being," says Hillary Hotelling, M.D. "By encompassing all aspects of what makes a person whole, I hope to focus medical care on maintaining wellness rather than reacting to illness. I think most doctors believe this but, at Providence ElderPlace, I feel I truly have the opportunity and time to get to know the patient as a whole person and practice this philosophy."
Dr. Hotelling was born and raised in North Carolina. She pursued engineering at MIT but switched careers, attending medical school at the Medical College of Georgia.
