Dr. Simon's practice is focused in the field of medical oncology with a special interest in gastrointestinal, lung and breast cancers, other solid tumors and neuro-oncology.
His treatment philosophy emphasizes a multispecialty approach with incorporation of clinical trials and fosters the active participation of his patients in planning the best therapy for their unique needs. His warm friendly manner is an expression of his strong belief in treating all patients with compassion and encouragement.
Dr. Simon was born in Budapest, Hungary. Education and volunteer service are an important part of his personal life and his desire to give back to the community. He is very active with Health Volunteers Overseas, an organization which provides medical education in developing countries.
In his spare time he enjoys traveling, skiing and spending time with his wife and two sons.
