Providence

Maria Leiva, serves as the medical director at Providence Maternal Care Clinic. In addition, she is a clinical associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Oregon Health & Science University.

Born and raised in Colombia, Maria earned her medical degree at Universidad Javeriana in Bogota. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. She also earned a master's degree in epidemiology and pharmaco-epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania, where she completed postgraduate work in reproductive endocrinology.

Since moving to Oregon, Dr. Leiva and her family have been very happy to be living in the Pacific Northwest.
