Being active all her life and struggling at times with her own sports injuries, Dr. Breanne Brown was inspired to become a doctor to help treat others. "I was drawn to family medicine, with an emphasis in sports medicine, because of the variety of conditions I'm able to treat," she said. "I love taking care of entire families."
Dr. Brown believes in a holistic approach when treating her patients. "My focus is on function and longevity," she says, "partnering with my patients to find the best treatment plan."
After earning her medical degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University, she completed a family medicine internship and residency at Providence Milwaukie Hospital and a sports medicine fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. Dr. Brown will serve as team physician for the Portland Thorns women's soccer team.
A Pacific Northwest native, Dr. Brown enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
