Molly Olsen became a doctor to combine her passion for helping people with her interest in science. She enjoys internal medicine because it allows her to care for her patients throughout their lives.

In her practice, she prioritizes prevention and encourages her patients to adopt or maintain healthy habits. "I think it's important to address each patient as an individual," she said. "I respect each person's priorities and personal values, which is why I strongly encourage patients to participate in health care decisions."

Molly graduated from Carleton College in Northfield, Minn., with an undergraduate degree in biology. She went on to earn her medical degree from OHSU in Portland Ore., and completed her residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Originally from Atlanta, Ga., she is excited to join the Hood River community. She has a son with her husband Steve Olsen, M.D., an ear, nose, and throat physician. They both enjoy outdoor activities and are eager to explore the Columbia Gorge.
