Debbie Fulkerson, O.T.R.L., is an occupational therapist who received her bachelor of science degree in occupational therapy from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS. She has worked in the area of physical medicine and rehabilitation with primarily neurological conditions. She has worked in outpatient and inpatient facilities including V.A. Hospital in Marinez, CA; John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, CA; UpReach Pavillion Rehabilitation Hospital in Gainesville, FL and Vencor Rehabilitation Services in Gainesville, FL. She transferred to the Salem, OR area with Vencor in 1998. She has worked for Providence Portland Medical Center inpatient and outpatient settings since 2000, and joined the ALS team in 2005. Debbie's special interests include advanced training and completion of certification course work for neurodevelopmental therapy approaches for adult movement disorders following brain injury from strokes, traumatic brain injury; tumors; and other neurological diseases.
