Nicholas J. Okon, D.O., is a neurologist specializing in stroke. He joined Providence Stroke Center after helping to create a nationally certified primary stroke center in Billings, Mont. Dr. Okon has been published in The Journal of Rural Health, Preventing Chronic Disease, Circulation, Preventive Medicine, Stroke and Lancet Neurology Network.
He earned his medical degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, served a residency in neurology at University of Chicago, and completed a fellowship in cerebrovascular disease at the University of Texas, Houston Stroke Program.
