Dr. Zoubek has practiced urology in Portland since 1992 and joined Urologic Consultants in 2001.
"The key to successful treatment is a correct diagnosis," says Dr. Zoubek. "The first step to the right diagnosis is taking the time to listen to the patient, followed by appropriate and individualized diagnostic tests. Finally, and just as critical, taking the time to explain the patient's condition, treatment options, and alternatives. Patients do much better when they understand their condition and the ways it can be treated."
Dr. Zoubek was One of the first 100 women urologists to receive urology board certification in the U.S. She works part-time, which allows her to spend time with her husband, two children, and Echo, a very cute and needy Bichon Frise. She also enjoys gardening, hiking, traveling, and needlework, especially needlepoint and embroidery. She is currently working towards a certificate from the British Royal School of Needlework. She speaks fluent Czech.
