Biography
Matthew Gadbaw joined our hospitalist group in 2004. He is also the medical director of the inpatient pediatric unit at Providence St. Vincent and is our lead pediatric hospitalist. Dr Gadbaw is also responsible for developing guidelines for a safe environment of care for pediatric patients with eating disorders. When not working, Dr. Gadbaw enjoys hiking, running, traveling, winemaking and spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Matthew Gadbaw is originally from Olympia, Wash. He completed his undergraduate studies at Stanford University receiving bachelor degrees in English and biological sciences. He completed his medical degree at the University of Washington in Seattle, graduating with honors and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Gadbaw completed his combined internal medicine and pediatrics training at Duke University in North Carolina.
