William Spisak, M.D., is a leader in the field of hyperbaric medicine and wound care. Since completing his medical education at Wayne State University in 1980, he performed residencies at Harper/Detroit General Hospital and Providence Portland Medical Center. Throughout his career Dr. Spisak has served as an investigator in numerous studies and held teaching positions with Oregon Health & Science University and Providence Portland Medical Center.
In addition to overseeing the Providence Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care unit, Dr. Spisak currently is an active member of the Multnomah County Medical Society, Oregon Medical Association, Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society and has a private practice in Northeast Portland. In 1995, he was recognized as Internist of the Year at Providence Portland Medical Center.
