Hip revision

Also known as: Revision total hip arthroplasty

Hip revision surgery, which is also known as revision total hip arthroplasty, is a procedure in which a surgeon removes a previously implanted artificial hip joint, or prosthesis, and replaces it with a new prosthesis.

Providence Orthopedic Institute offers professional treatment for adults and children in the following areas: joint reconstruction and revisions, foot and ankle injuries, hand and upper extremity surgery, fracture care, trauma care and sports injuries.  We use a variety of assessment and treatment tools to establish an accurate diagnosis quickly and develop a care plan that is tailored to the needs of each patient.
