Lance Christian is the services director of the ALS Association of Oregon & SW Washington. He also serves as the Providence ALS Center Social Worker. Lance received his B.A. in history from Reed College, and his M.A. in social work from Portland State University, both of Portland, OR. He has worked in community mental health for many years but most recently has focused on neurological health care working at the ALS Association, The National MS Society and the MS Society of Victoria, Australia.
Lance's area of focus includes supporting families to access the resources of the ALS Association and other community resources, insurance advocacy, support groups and family care giving supports.
