Biography
Dr. Marina Mezey chose to become a doctor after volunteering at a public health clinic in Costa Rica. She says her most important role as a physician is to "listen to my patients, respond to their needs and concerns, diagnose and care for them, and serve as an advocate for them as they navigate through the health care system."

In her practice, she emphasizes preventive health and screenings as well as management of chronic disease. She believes in treating the whole person and in educating her patients so they can be partners in their own health care.

Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Mezey earned her medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa. She completed her internship and residency at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland.

Away from the office, she enjoys yoga, hiking and playing with her daughter. Dr. Mezey speaks both English and Spanish.
