Biography

"I chose family medicine as a specialty because I value the relationships with patients and working with people to address their health," says Dr. Rima Chamie. "I also enjoy having the opportunity to take care of several generations of people in a family."

Dr. Chamie provides a full spectrum of family medicine services, including maternity care. She has extensive experience in caring for children and adolescents, and she emphasizes the importance of preventive care in her practice.

Dr. Chamie earned her undergraduate degree at Wesleyan University in Middletown Conn. She received her medical degree and completed her residency at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland.

Away from the office, Dr. Chamie enjoys spending time with her family, running and being outdoors as much as possible. She is fluent in Spanish.
