Biography

Edsel U. Kim, M.D., is an ear, nose and throat surgeon who works in conjunction with neurosurgeons on minimally invasive techniques, including endoscopic skull-base surgery. He is medical director and chair of the department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.

Dr. Kim has been involved in clinical trials for cancer vaccine and treatments and has been published in the American Journal of Otolaryngology and “Gene Therapy of Cancer” (second edition).

Dr. Kim earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine and completed a residency at University of Michigan’s Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. His post-doctoral fellowship at University of Michigan included work in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and anterior skull-base surgery.
