"As a physician, my most important role is to listen to my patient's needs carefully and provide the best possible care for them," says Alan Burningham, M.D. "My job is to understand what my patient is feeling, what they need and what they expect, and to tailor their care appropriately." Dr. Burningham's philosophy of care is to treat every patient with respect and as an individual. He believes this forms the basis of a healthy physician-patient relationship that will allow the best possible care.
Dr. Burningham earned his medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. He completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in otolaryngology at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. In addition, he completed a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. Dr. Burningham is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and a Diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology.
