Kathleen Farrell, D.O., received her degree of osteopathic medicine in 1988 from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences, Des Moines, Iowa. She subsequently completed an internal medicine residency at Legacy Emanuel Hospital and a geriatric fellowship at the Portland VA Medical Center. After serving on the faculty at the Oregon Health & Science University from 1994 through 2003, she joined Providence ElderPlace in Gresham.
Dr. Farrell served as president of the Oregon Medical Directors Association and Oregon Geriatrics Society from 2001 to 2002, as well as sitting on its board of directors from 2000 to 2003. In her spare time, Dr. Farrell enjoys hiking and gardening.
