Dr. Smoot is a neurologist specializing in multiple sclerosis. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his medicine internship and neurology residency at Oregon Health & Science University, where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Smoot began working at Providence Multiple Sclerosis Center in 2009, and in 2011 he joined the Multiple Sclerosis Center full-time.
Dr. Smoot has established a new patient program series at the Multiple Sclerosis Center. He also continues to play an active role in multiple clinical research trials. Over the last decade, he has presented several abstracts at both the American Academy of Neurology and the American Neurologic Association meetings.
In his free time, Dr. Smoot enjoyes cycling, hiking and cooking.
