Dr. Stas' training includes a general orthopedic surgery residency with an additional 2 year fellowship training in both adult orthopedic trauma and joint reconstruction. She treats all general orthopedic conditions, but focuses her practice on minimally invasive hip and knee replacements, revision hip and knee replacements and adult orthopedic trauma. Dr. Stas believes in educating the patient of their condition, formulating an individualized treatment plan with available options and monitoring the patient's progress until the condition has resolved.
Dr. Stas enjoys classical music and has completed her piano degree from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Canada. She is an avid expert downhill skier, accomplished scuba diver having an advanced open water certification and combines these activities with her love of worldwide travel.
