Dr. Jonathan Vinson entered the field of family medicine for the opportunity to build long-term relationships with families through all phases of life. “I treat patients of all ages, but I especially enjoy obstetrics because pregnancy, birth and child-rearing are such intense and transformative episodes in our lives,” he says. In his practice, Dr. Vinson considers his most important role to be providing accurate and complete information so that his patients can make informed decisions. After earning his medical degree from the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Dr. Vinson completed his residency in family medicine at Oregon Health & Science University. He serves in the Oregon Air National Guard as a flight surgeon. In his spare time, Dr. Vinson enjoys competitive cycling, skiing and hiking with his wife and two children.
