Out-of-Town VisitorsTransportationVisitors may park in the parking structure at NE 49th and Hoyt Avenues. All parking at Providence Portland Medical Center is free. Patients and visitors are cautioned not to park in reserved or designated areas. There is designated parking for emergency patients near the emergency entrance.Please be sure to lock your vehicle. Two major Tri-Met bus lines, #19 and #83, serve Providence Portland Medical Center. Maps and schedules are available on the
Tri-Met Web site, and at the main entrance to the medical center and the security office located in Providence Hall.
Stay close to ProvidenceApartments are available on a weekly basis for out-of-town patients and their families within a block or two of the Providence campus. The units are furnished, including dishes, telephone and television.
