The Travis & Beverly Cross Guest Housing Center was named for a Portland couple who have exemplified compassion and hospitality. Throughout his 17 years in administration at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, Travis Cross showed special sensitivity to the needs of patients and their family members. Beverly Cross served patients and their loved ones for years as an active Providence St. Vincent Medical Center volunteer. Travis, who passed away in January 2004, also made notable contributions in government, higher education and philanthropy.
