Providence

The Providence Oral, Head and Neck Cancer Program is composed of a diverse team of medical and dental professionals who are dedicated to the care of patients with oral, head and neck tumors.  Since the oral cavity is the most prevalent site for cancer to occur in the head and neck, and the mouth and throat are often affected by treatment. Our program has a heavy emphasis on oral and oropharyngeal cancer. Thus, we draw on the expertise of both physicians and dentists to not just cure the patient of the cancer when possible, but to optimize their quality of life by normalizing the ability to speak, chew and swallow.
