The new Providence Sports Care Center – a 12,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art sports medicine and orthopedic center complete with swim stroke analysis, resistance pool and multi-sports simulator – serves as the primary rehabilitation clinic for Timbers athletes and also provides rehabilitation services to the public.
The two-story center is located in the southeast corner of JELD-WEN Field and offers:
- Physician services, including orthopedic care and sports massage
- A resistance pool for deep-water running, acute injury rehab and biomechanical analysis of swimming stroke technique
- Physical and occupational therapy
- Diagnostic imaging
- Sport-specific simulators for injury assessment and movement analysis, for:
- Golf
- Soccer
- Football
- Baseball
- Basketball
- Hockey
- Cycling
