A therapy-based day camp for children with special needs receiving speech, physical and/or occupational therapy. Camp SPOT blends the traditional camp experience with therapeutic activities in a fun group environment.
Camp SPOT offers children with special needs the chance to experience:
• Music and movement
• Crafts
• Theater and pretend play
• Cooking and snack time
• Team building
Campers will work on therapy goals previously determined by their therapist and/or physician. In addition, families will receive a home program designed to encourage practice on skills learned at camp.
